Into his fifth season of A-League football Doyle has played 68 times for Wellington Phoenix since returning to the club where he was part of the initial Football School of Excellence intake in 2012. After getting his formal football education with Auckland City FC and Central United, he made the shift to Wellington for tertiary education, graduating from Massey University in 2015 with a Diploma in Graphic Design. After making his debut for the All Whites in 2014, Doyle has been ever-present in recent squads under coach Anthony Hudson.
Tom Doyle will look to stake his place in new Head Coach, Mark Rudan's side this term as they search for glory.
