Liberato Cacace, 18, came through the youth ranks at Island Bay, Wellington before making the move to Ricki Herbert's Junior Elite Academy.
After making seven appearances in 2017/18, Cacace signed a two-year professional contract.
The young full back pushed on in the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 season, racking up more minutes than any of his teammates. On top of that, Cacace scored his maiden Hyundai A-League goal, in an 8-2 win over Central Coast Mariners.
