Ben Waine, 18, enjoyed a breakout season in the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 season, debuting on 30 March in the 4-1 win against Newcastle Jets at Westpac Stadium.
Known as Waino by his teammates, the exciting forward scored seven goals in the ISPS Handa Premiership. This New Zealand domestic league is where the Reserves compete.
Waine made 16 appearances for the club in 2018/19, including his senior debut in the FFA Cup before becoming a regular in the Reserves side.
