Wellington Phoenix Ins & Outs – Round 1

Thumbnail

Wellington Phoenix begin their Hyundai A-League 2018/19 campaign with a home fixture against Ernie Merrick’s side, Newcastle Jets.

Head Coach Mark Rudan can choose from a full strength side heading into the season.

Roy Krishna has been prolific in pre-season and will look to maintain his good form in the season opener.

New signings Mandi and Max Burgess could make their Hyundai A-League debuts on Sunday 21 October with kick off at 5.00pm

Also, in an innovative initiative, the Nix will ‘Cash The Gate’ and pay out the crowd number in cash to one lucky fan in the crowd, should the crowd exceed 10,000.

There will be additional jackpots of $1,000 for each goal scored, plus an additional $1,000 should a player get a hat trick.
