Wellington Phoenix travel to New South Wales on Saturday, with the intention of returning with all three points. Head Coach, Mark Rudan’s side will take confidence from their previous meetings with Central Coast Mariners, having beaten them twice already this season.
The last time the sides met, Wellington Phoenix escaped the clutches of defeat to prevail 3-2, at Westpac Stadium back in January, with three goals being scored within 17 minutes.
Injuries throughout the squad means Academy player, Gianni Stensness, has been called in and may get his chance in the game day squad this weekend.
