Wellington Phoenix is excited to present its Community Day, this Saturday, at our very own training ground, Martin Luckie Park in Berhampore, featuring an action-packed afternoon of football and fun for the whole family.
Get your preseason football fix as all 20 outfield Phoenix players have the chance to get a full 90 minutes under their belts with not one but two back-to-back fixtures showcasing some of New Zealand’s finest footballing talent with both ISPS Handa Premiership Charity Cup contestants Team Wellington and Auckland City in town.
Phoenix will be kicking off the action at 12pm against ISPS Handa Premiership champions Team Wellington, followed by Phoenix taking on Auckland City.
Between the games, at 2pm, there will be a significant community announcement – with representatives from the Human Rights Commission and regional Mayors Justin Lester, Wayne Guppy, Ray Wallace and Mike Tana in attendance.

Our apparel partners Football Central will also be on site selling a range of new season Phoenix kits. Get your hands on some awesome new gear to wear to our first game of the season against Adelaide United on 8 October!
Saturday will also be an excellent opportunity to meet your 2017/18 Phoenix squad and get some of your Phoenix gear signed. All Phoenix players will be available after the match for autographs and photos, so don’t miss your chance to say hello to your favourite players and meet some of our fantastic new signings.
Wellington Phoenix Community Day promises to be a great day out for the family, with kid-friendly activities, food and drink options and a chance to meet the players before the A-League season returns in full force!
