In a season of records including the first ever hat-trick by a Wellington Phoenix player, most away wins in a season and more goals scored than ever before, the Wellington Phoenix today surpassed four thousand season tickets and Club Memberships for the first time ever.
Wellington Phoenix General Manager David Dome said the Club were thrilled with the response from fans as the Club charges towards the finals.
“On the back of some exceptional football being played by the team and the buzz around the Club, we are delighted that fans have got in behind the Club and purchased season tickets and Club Memberships like never before.
“The Final Four pack – which includes tickets to the Nix’s last four games at Westpac Stadium and a membership pack and is a saving of up to 60% on gate prices – went on sale on Monday and pushed our numbers over 4,000 for the very first time.
“We’re very proud and thankful that fans not only in Wellington, but the rest of New Zealand and around the world have supported us this season and can see what Ernie and the players on the field are doing in providing some scintillating sporting entertainment.
“We’re putting the challenge out now for fans everywhere to get in behind the Club in our last four games at Westpac Stadium – the Final Four pack is the perfect way to do this.
