Wellington Phoenix are delighted to announce that two leading Wellington businesses have signed on for the remainder of the 2017/18 Hyundai A-League season with the Phoenix.

The Wellington Company, a leading urban and property development firm, will feature on the away shirts for the remainder of the season as back of shirt sponsors, with Green Cabs, New Zealand’s only dedicated fleet of low emission vehicles including fully electric vehicles, becoming the back of shorts branding partner.

For Phoenix General Manager, David Dome, the businesses are not just logical matches commercially, but also in terms of values of the club.

“We’re delighted to have both The Wellington Company and Green Cabs on board with the Phoenix,” said Dome, “as they both very much represent the essence of this great city.”

“Both are hugely innovative, future-focused companies who also share our passion for Wellington. We are looking forward to working with them for the remainder of the season.”

For managing director and founder of The Wellington Company, Ian Cassells, supporting the Phoenix was a union of two proud Wellington organisations.

“We have a lot of great institutions in Wellington and I think the Phoenix is now one of them. With our support, and also other support from the business community, they can continue to fly the flag for the capital in a very competitive Australian league.”

“Our business has invested a great deal into the development of Wellington in the last two decades, and we pride ourselves on the transformations we have undertaken with both heritage and prominent buildings. In its own way, the Phoenix has seen the transformation of football also, and we are happy to support a team that reflects that.”

Wellington Phoenix enjoy successful partnerships with a high-profile suite of leading local and international businesses including Huawei, Singapore Airlines, Century 21 and adidas.
