Top football commentators Simon Hill, Jason Pine and David Chote will be joined by Paul Ifill and Stephen McIvor for Sky Arena’s pay per view coverage of the Carlsberg Football United Tour.
Hill will be joined in the main commentary position by Wellington Phoenix striker Paul Ifill who has filled a number of media roles since sustaining a serious achilles injury during last season.
Ifill, who played for Millwall in an FA Cup final against Manchester United, has slipped easily into television and radio commentating and was used in that role by Fox Sports in the latter stages of last season.
Ifill will also be fronting the telecast along with Sky’s Stephen McIvor, while Wellington’s popular radio duo Jason Pine and David Chote will be side line providing on field segments during pre-match, with Pine will also interviewing the coaches during the broadcast.
Pine and Chote will also provide regular comments during the 90 minutes.
