Wellington Phoenix are joining forces with LFC Wellington and leading Wellington-based football supporter groups to unite the tribes under one banner – the banner of football!
We are excited to announce our ‘Support your local team’ project in collaboration with LFC Wellington and West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham Supporters Clubs (and bringing together fans from other ‘first’ teams; Roma, Brighton, Chelsea, Newcastle, Celtic etc).
Many Wellington Phoenix season ticket holders are members of Wellington-based supporter groups. We want 25 November, our next home game, to be a day where fans can bring new, or infrequent attendees to the stadium to support Wellington Phoenix, your local team. This project aims to bring the football community together to celebrate the beautiful game, whether your first team is the Phoenix or Burnley, Roma or Waterside Karori.
As part of this theme, we are offering a special 2-for-1 ticket deal for anyone who brings a mate to support your local team. Wellington-based supporters groups will receive this ticket code in communications from LFC Wellington. Wellington Phoenix encourage Wellington football supporters groups and their mates to sit together in Aisle 30 for this special themed round.
Wellington football supporters are invited to meet at one of Wellington Phoenix’s official bars, Munchen on Queens Wharf, before the game to catch up, trade team chants and football stories. Match tickets will be available at Munchen for cash purchase on the day.
