The build up for the first home game of the season will start early with a huge pre game party planned for Queens Wharf followed by a March to the Stadium to the Stadium in time for kick off.
On the afternoon of Saturday October 6, starting at 4.30pm, fans are invited to be part of a March to the Stadium ‘fan trail’ which will see a procession from Queens Wharf to Westpac Stadium for the first home game of the season against Sydney FC.
There will be performing artists, Phoenix merchandise giveaways, live music with marching bands, Wellington Samba institution Batucada and all sorts of entertainment for kids and adults.
ZM and Hauraki will be on site at Queens Wharf with giveaways, competitions and games.
Classic Hits will be hosting the Junior Football Club kids entertainment at Civic Square, also from 4.30pm.
Wellington Phoenix partners TAB, Ryos and Ticketek will be there showing their support and giving fans the opportunity to buy Phoenix merchandise and match day tickets before the walk to the Stadium starts at 5.30pm.
