Football Clubs and Community Groups – Get Involved in Football United Tour

We want you to be part of our Auckland and Wellington Football United Tour games!

The Wellington Phoenix will make history when they host two English Premier League sides in New Zealand for the first time in July 2014.

In a football extravaganza that will span the length of the country, sports fans will be able to experience a football event never seen before in this part of the world.
Westpac Stadium will be rocking when English Premier League clubs West Ham United and Newcastle United take part in a ground-breaking double header with the Wellington Phoenix and Australian glamour club Sydney FC in the Football United Tour 2014 on July 26.

We want you to be part of our Auckland and Wellington games!

Perform at the games!
Do you or your school have a cultural or musical group that you would like to have show-cased ? We are looking for five groups for the concourse and on field to add to the experience on July 26. It can be anything from a jazz band, barbershop, hip hop dance to a traditional dance.

All you need to do is send in a 2-5 minute video of your group by 30th May.

Your Football Team can be Ball Kids!
We are looking for 12 ball kids (mix of girls & boys, aged 12-14 years. Two adults to accompany) to be ball kids in Auckland and Wellington, representing your club in your tracksuits.

Simply is send in a photo of your club showing your support for one of the four teams to rachelm@prod.wellingtonphoenix.aleagues.com.au by Friday 27 June. Teams will be notified by Friday 4 July either way and more information will be given.

Timeline for Performance Groups:
30th May: Interested groups to send in their performance by this date
6th June: Groups will be notified whether successful or unsuccessful
9th June: Wellington Phoenix to watch live performance of each successful school. Schools to then work on their routines
30th June: Routines to be finalised for game day
23rd & 26th July: Game days!
