The FFA Cup returns for 2019 as Wellington Phoenix find out their opponents for the Round of 32 this Wednesday night.

The draw will be broadcast live on Wednesday 26 June through FOX SPORTS AUSTRALIA from 7.30pm AEST (9.30pm NZT) and those in New Zealand can watch the live draw on theffacup.com.au.

Joining the 10 Hyundai A-League clubs will be 22 Members Federation clubs who have progressed from a total of 737 sides across Australia to compete in the last 32. Each and every cup tie must be decided on the day, with extra time and penalties to decide results of matches drawn after 90 minutes.

Wellington Phoenix have previously progressed to the Round of 16 in the 2015/16 season and will look to better that this year under new Head Coach, Ufuk Talay.

Talay will hope to start his era in the strongest possible way, stating in his press conference the intention to win everything possible.

”Every trophy that’s out there, I want to go for it.”
