New Zealand Membership

Unmissable

The 2022-23 A-Leagues promise to be truly Unmissable and we want you to be part of it – if you are an existing member and have renewed your season ticket – thank you! The club very much values your support as we have navigated some pretty tricky challenges over the last two and a half seasons.

A very special thank you to all our Foundation Members who have continued to stick with the club since day one. We trust you enjoy all your season benefits including complimentary access to the Phoenix Lounge this season.

If you haven’t renewed, you have until Sunday 5pm to renew to guarantee your seats from previous seasons. Don’t wait – do it now!

For those looking to show their support for the club in season 2022/23, the Wellington Phoenix men and women are both set for full home seasons, meaning there will be more professional football in New Zealand than ever before.

The men will play 12 regular season matches in Aotearoa and Ufuk Talay is assembling a squad that will be amongst the best in the A-League. Adding to the core of the squad that made the finals against all odds last season, Kosta Barbarouses is back home to lead the Nix to a championship, highly-regarded Australian Steven Ugakorvic has chosen to further his career in Wellington and Bozhidar Kraev brings international and Champions League experience to the club. And we’re not done. We’re close to signing another attacking midfielder and a striker to fill our final two visa spots.

The women will play eight home games in their first season in Wellington and their opening game in the capital will simply be Unmissable. There will be raised expectations in year two and Gemma Lewis is building a squad that will meet them. Several of last season’s history-makers have re-signed and a couple of established Football Ferns in Betsy Hassett and Paige Satchell have joined them. Their 162 caps worth of international experience will be invaluable.

But our teams are nothing without our fans. They need your support and one way to do that is to become a member.

Memberships go on sale at midday on Monday, August 8.

Gold, silver (including the Yellow Fever zone) and family season tickets are available from Monday, August 8, with New Zealand and Australian club memberships, and the popular ‘Triple Nix’ pass on sale from Monday, September 5.

Besides access to every Phoenix home match this season, men and women, and large savings on gate prices, there are a host of membership benefits, including discounts at our key partners: Oppo, New BalancePaladin, Exodus and Chemist Warehouse, plus members only communications.

The Phoenix have also partnered with Laybuy to help make our memberships move affordable.

Wellington Phoenix general manager David Dome is urging fans to jump on board.

“I can’t remember a season I have looked forward to quite as much as this one,” Dome said.

“If I look at the team Ufuk is assembling and how they are looking in pre-season, the men will be challenging come the pointy end of the season.

“And I’m expecting the women to be much improved too. Gemma is building a quality squad and they will benefit greatly from being based at the world class New Zealand Campus of Innovation and Sport facility in Upper Hutt.”

The men will kick-off their season at Sky Stadium on Sunday, October 9, with all of their games in New Zealand to kick-off at the family-friendly time of 3pm.

The ALW draw has yet to be confirmed, but we are hoping to start the first season of women’s professional football in New Zealand on the opening weekend (November 18-20).

“Both teams have been starved of your support and all the players can’t wait to play in front of you all this season,” Dome said.

“Sky Stadium will be buzzing for the men’s opening game and let’s try and break the competition record for the biggest women’s crowd in November.”
